Teen Titans #17- The Death of a Family storyline is over, but the aftermath is still taking affect. The team is starting to notice something is off about Red Robin. Read to find out.

Comics: Batman Incorporated #8 Spoilers

We finally are given the word on what will happen to young Damian Wayne in Batman Incorporated #8. So to catch everyone up on what is happening, a few weeks ago, a comic book retailer tweeted the image of the new issue that featured Robin (Damian Wayne) in the exact same pose as his father Batman (Bruce Wayne) in Batman #676. Here is the new cover below:

We all started to theorize what this meant for the still relevtivaly new character Damian. Would He die? Was this just a cash-in cover? Is it a metaphor? Who knows..oh wait we do now. Thanks to the New York Post doing a huge article on it.

Spoilers!!!

Damian Wayne will die! *sad face*. Yep, Damien's creator Grant Morrison said that he will die for like real. “It’s all about the family and the family going to hell,” said Morrison, who threw in elements of his own parents’ divorce. “The two adults in the story are both culpable. The kid’s the good guy.”

Do we know how long he will stay dead? or is it for good good? I'm full of theories. For instance, since he is half al Ghul, I can see him going back to the Lazareth pit and coming back.

We will find out more when the issue hits stands. I was really started to like the kid too..

Matthew Vaughn Producing Fantastic Four Reboot

Last year, 20th Century Fox hired Mark Millar (writer of Kick-Ass and The Ultimates) to be a consultant on all of their Marvel Comic film adaptations. Well, this man has been busy over that time with getting all the players together and making magic happen. Well, he tweeted some very interesting news that Deadline has confirmed (but I still didn't doubt it coming from the main man himself).

Millar tweeted this:

That makes me very excited! Trank had a fantastic (see what I did there) first film with Chronicle and I expect great things with his take on Fantastic Four, but now that Vaughn is stepping in to produce, I am  so excited now! Vaughn has an amazing record with us comic geeks doing X-Men: First Class and Kick-Ass. So expect some big news in future of this film.

We are still speculating that 20th Century Fox wants to a single universe, much in the way Marvel is doing in house with their properties. It makes perfect sense for them to do that with them owning Fantastic Four and X-Men.

Do you guys want to see Fantastic Four rebooted? Or Vaughn producing?

Comics: Batman/Superman Comic Returning for New 52

DC is finally bringing back one of the bigger books fans have been wondering if it will ever pop back up in the New 52. Batman/Superman has always been a reader favorite because of the interaction between DC's biggest heroes. USA Today broke the story that they plan on bringing it back this June with writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.

Greg Pak is widely known to be a Marvel boy doing World War Hulk and X-Men, but he couldn't pass up the offer to take on a ongoing series of Batman and Superman. Also, Jae Lee has been fantastic doing Inhumans art. So expect a great team up here.

During the interview Pak stated "It is a real thrill, and it's particularly a thrill because we're being given some real leeway to do some really important storytelling with these characters. It really defines some great things and to depict some really key moments for them."

Pak is taking this book back to the very beginning. Back to when Superman became a hero for the first time rocking the jeans and t-shirt, than to the point where Batman and Superman meet for the first time. This is something big and sweet to finally see in the New 52. The first story arc will not only have a threat of evil, but these 2 guys figuring things out themselves. Interesting.

"What would your reaction be if you saw a guy running around in a bat costume in the dead of night attacking people for the first time? And what would your reaction be if you met an alien who could crush steel in his bare hands for the first time?"Pak continues "These guys are going to have very different immediate impressions of each other than we're used to seeing with these characters."

Expect great things in this new comic kicking off this June. I'll for sure be there to pick it up!

The PS4 Conference Game Demos Killzone, Watch Dogs, Drive Club + More

Here is what we wanted to see so bad right? The Game Demos for PS4! Sony came loaded with plenty of good games to show off the improvements in hardware. So lets get into the dirty with jumping into watching them.

All trailers courtesy of IGN

Destiny PS4 Announcement

Killzone Shadow Fall Gameplay

Watch Dogs PS4 Footage

Quantic Dream Tech Demo

After the jump we have the very cool demos of Drive Club, Knack, and infamous Second Son!

Sony Unveils PS4! Release Date, DualShock 4, PlayStation Eye, and Specs

We have a LOT of info to get to with Sony unveiling Playstation 4 (PS4) along with a few little cool things. Although, it still feels like we didn't get very much at the same time. Good work Sony, Good work. So here is rundown of all the things they announced today with a few post afterwards of some of the individual items like the DualShock 4 and user interface.

First off..Sony never actually gave us a look at the system itself. Weird I know. It kind of makes you think they were trying to jump the gun on getting it announced before Microsoft. I will say it seems they have finished the internal hardware because they unveiled some pretty awesome info on the guts this beast is filled with. Expect some time to get a look at the external hardware because my best guess is they haven't found the perfect shape for it yet.

Holiday 2013 Release Date

They announced exactly what the header says, the window for release is holiday season 2013. So expect a lot of press from now until then about it.

PS4 Specs

Those are some pretty good specs that really improve on the PS3's greatest features, while greatly improving its faults. The custom AMD Jaguar CPU core is usually targeted for low power machines like entry level PCs or tablets. Thats still doesn't give us the whole story because with it being custom, we have no real clue how powerful this thing is. The big part I notice was the 8GB ram memory this thing has, which is a huge step up from PS3's 512mb ram. Also, another big part is the increase from 2x to 6x blu-ray drive, which will increase speeds drastically. I'm liking what I'm seeing here.

DualShock 4 Controller

Here is like the only Hardware wise thing they did unveil besides the Playstation Eye. This is also my favorite thing they gave us to gawk at the entire event. I say that with some dislike though, I am a fan of the classic DualShock controller and this thing is changing a little bit for my taste. They took away the select and start buttons and added a share and options button with a giant touchpad in center. I do like the redone d-pad and buttons, while interested in the light bar that changes colors to reflect, lets say health bar on the game. More in-depth look at the new controller in a little bit.

PlayStation Eye

Sony didn't give us the greatest first look at this new Playstation Eye, but with what they did release, it's a mighty big threat to Microsofts Kinect. Not only will this work with PlayStation Move and the new DualShock 4 controller, it is packing some good specs. It has dual cameras that individually capture 1280x800 pixel RAW/YUV video at 30fps each. So thats a huge update from the old single lens eye at 640x480 video. Also, you can log-in with facial recognition and has 4 microphones to actually be able to hear you, while being able to see you as it can rotate up to 85 degrees. Pretty much a beast.

More news to come with the demos and the use of Gaikai

Pick & Pull: February 20th, 2013 - Justice League of America, Nova, + More

This weeks Pick & Pull is coming out to be another strong week of releases with a New Justice League teaming coming out made of all our favorites that need more page space, to a teen becoming a hero, and a new gunslinger story.

Highlights:

Justice League of America #1 - This isn't just another Justice League book to add to the catalog for the hell of it. This is a book that will give some of the best heroes their due time to shine in a book. This isn't the big team like Batman or Superman, but the cool guys like Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, and Catwoman (weird, yet so awesome). Check this out!

Nova #1 - This hero was in need of his own series to tell his tale. If you have seen the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and loved Nova, well, check out this book written by the great Jeph Loeb. It isn't all about the whole space battle scene but even more about getting to know the character and his relationships with family.

The Sixth Gun: Sons of the Gun #1 The Sixth Gun is one fantastic series that is making waves in comic world and tv worlds. Expect to see a lot of this series in future, but for now check out this book. It gives us what many have been wondering and wanting to know. That is more info on General Hume's horsemen.

Justice League of America's Vibe #1 - We all wanted to get a more personal look at this young heroes life. Co-written by Geoff Johns, we are in for a treat in this journey. Get to see why exactly JLA wants this guy on the team.

Deadpool #5 - This series is pretty far out there with some great humor by comedian Brian Posehn. The only thing I have to say is Deadpool fighting Ronald Reagan….in space!?! Ya you heard me right…space..

Bryan Singer Tweets Pic of X-Men: Days of Future Past Wheelchairs

Bryan Singer is one of few directors that is cool in the sense he keeps the fans updated on the movie he is currently filming. So, with a huge film like X-Men: Days of Future Past, we are bound to see some cool tweets and even better…pics from set! So this little behind the scenes look is pretty awesome. We get to see the wheelchairs used by the Professor X's from both time periods. The cool slick one on the left is the older Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) chair, while the still cool, yet, retro one on right is the 70's Xavier (James McAvoy).

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters on July 18, 2014

Harrison Ford Playing Han Solo in Episode 7? Not Yet

Rumors on the hugely anticipated 7th film in the Star Wars series have been everywhere since they announced that they will make it a new trilogy. Well, now we hear a rumor that has some good meat to it and kind of makes sense to do. The news is Harrison Ford is talking about returning to the Star Wars universe as Han Solo!

This is just huge news because it will give us ideas where Disney will go with the new movies. Rumors since we get a return of the original series, we will see the film set 35 years in future and eventually give the films to the new cast to do their thing. I can buy into that, but please don't let these prequel films happen..yet. We need to move forward at this time in the world not backwards.

The news broke earlier saying he was cast as the part, but now the news is changing to he's in talks with EW writer Geoff Boucher tweeted this:

So, there is still talk of it happening! Just going to take some time.

More news to come

Comics: Pick & Pull: February 13, 2013

It's that time again! The last (first) Pick & Pull was a pretty big success with some good feedback. So why not try a second time and see how it goes because this week is pretty big! We get a conclusion to a huge event, new series starting, a new team forming and just coolness all around.

Highlights

Batman #17 - The epic conclusion to the absolutely amazing 'A Death of a Family' Story arc is finally here! This story arc has had some great moments throughout that just stick to you after reading. This is a must read for any Batman fan

Secret Avengers #1 - This is an awesome book that puts Hawkeye and Black Widow front and center with Agent Coulsen and Nick Fury (Jr.?). This book is written by Nick Spencer, so expect to get great story lines with us basically knowing what the files and heroes know at the time.

Uncanny X-Men #1 - The other major team book coming out this week, Since Uncanny X-Men is widely known as the "it" X-book, this series is shaking things up and they are pretty sweet sounding. This is a spinoff of the amazing All New X-Men and that keeps this pretty awesome to read.

Powers Bureau #1 - This is the next chapter in the cool series Powers with them dealing with powers across the entire country. Pretty crazy sounding. And should be great for new readers to jump in (like me!)

Any others you would like to add? or excited about?

Albert Brooks Set to Return for Finding Nemo 2

Albert Brooks is set to return for Finding Nemo along with director Andrew Stanton! This is pretty big news because Nemo co-star Ellen Degeneres already said she signed up to reprise Dory a while back, but we have been waiting for Albert Brooks to get back. Well he has finally given into the house of mouse.

Deadline is saying he closed the deal at "a fat deal", that sounds like some pretty big bucks. So we can expect to see Dory and Marlin go on another adventure together, but to save Nemo again? No news on what the story or characters or even a release date yet. This film is very under-wraps just like every other Pixar film.

More news to come

The CW Renews Arrow and Supernatural!

The CW finally listed off their first renewals of the upcoming season with giving new seasons to, well their biggest (best shows) Supernatural and Arrow.

Supernatural is the longest running series on the CW with 9 seasons after this next year, premiering way back in 2005 on than The WB *tears I miss it*. The series recently saw an increase in viewers since being on right after freshman series Arrow.

Arrow, the youngling series, was a no brainer for renewal since it had the biggest series premiere on CW since 2009. Also, holding the biggest draw of viewers on the network every week. It's the golden boy of the network and expect big stuff for the 2nd season.

CW is very excited about this releasing the statement: “We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on," says Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW, "and now with our new hit 'Arrow' and fan favorite 'Supernatural' on Wednesday night, and the continued success of 'The Vampire Diaries' on Thursday, we’ve been able to do that. Not only do 'Arrow', 'Supernatural', and 'The Vampire Diaries' perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially. I’m thrilled to have all three shows returning to our schedule next season.”

Also, since CW is taking a cool trend into more of cool not high school soaps, we get a renewal of the popular teen vampire series Vampire Diaries.

No News on other shows yet on CW, but who watches any of those? do you?

Comics: DC Cancels 6 Titles and Adds 2 New

DC Comics is losing some steam with 6 titles ending in May. The titles include Deathstroke, The Savage Hawkman, Ravagers, Sword and Sorcery, Team 7 and Fury of the Firestorm. That is quite a lot of titles for one single month DC. Expect to see most of those characters maybe popup in other series by the sound of what editor-in-chief Bob Harras told Newsarama.

Now that those were cancelled, we must have something popping up that month to fill the void. Well, they announced those too! These are a little bit out there and actually very political in todays world. The first series announced was The Movement and than The Green Team.

The Movement is written by Gail Simone (Batgirl) and art by Freddie Williams III. The very talented Gail Simone said this about her new series:

"The Movement is an idea I've had for some time. It's a book about power -- who owns it, who uses it, who suffers from its abuse. As we increasingly move to an age where information is currency, you get these situations where a single viral video can cost a previously unassailable corporation billions, or can upset the power balance of entire governments. And because the sources of that information are so dispersed and nameless, it's nearly impossible to shut it all down."

The Next series is quite the opposite of the 99% book by Gail. The Green Team is a 1% reboot of a long (almost) forgotten series from 1975, that will be co-written by Art Baltazar and Franco with Ig Guara doing art. A series about trillionaire teens that want to buy the gear to make a them superheroes. Awesome? I think it could be. Art said:

"The real question is: Can money buy you anything in the DC universe? Would it make you powerful? Can it make you a hero? Can money make you…Super?"

Was your favorite series cancelled or are you excited to see these new series?

Justice League Film Script Reportedly Horrible and Scrapped

The Justice League just can't catch a break at all. After so many false starts over the years, we were finally given a date of 2015 for feature film. Well, it seems like that just won't be happening anytime soon. The script was being written by Gangster Squad scribe Will Beall and rumored to have Darkseid as villain while featuring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green lantern. Sounds very intriguing and Avenger beating worthy, but problem is Beall could have messed up big time with it.

Badass Digest is reporting that they have heard from numerous sources close to the project that the script is "terrible" and WB has decided to scrap it. Some of them say it will fall apart and never get made, while others say WB will keep pushing forward because the superhero team movie wagon is just so good to be on.

Apparently the script was off to a bad start and the studio was getting their minds to mixed up on who to feature. Even with all this talk of having the film, WB recently admitted that they were getting the jitters of going forward with their set 2015 date and decided to see how Man of Steel will do this year. The script was also rumored to be the biggest point why no director has signed on. They know when they got a dud or gold on their hands. (Good call Ben Affleck! Still want you to direct though…)

Guess what WB. I have a better plan for you to get the Justice League film out by 2018. First, comes Man of Steel this year, 2013. Next, skip 2014 (sorry but we want substance over rushed) and give some time for a summer release for Wonder Woman in 2015. Than, we get The Flash in 2016 along with Man of Steel 2 and Green Lantern Reboot respectively in 2017 to lead up to a epic Justice League film in 2018. Gives time between films and cameos of heroes in each (if not easter eggs like something like building of the watch tower). Also, they had it right to feature Batman again in Justice League, but maybe cameo him in Man of Steel 2 would be better introduction.

What do you guys think should be done for Justice League? Should it die or live on with a new writer?

Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen Eying 'Godzilla' Reboot

Legendary Pictures is moving more swiftly than originally thought with their Godzilla reboot. Amazing writer/director Frank Darabont is currently rewriting the script that was penned by Max Borenstein. So while that is being done, sources are telling Variety that Legendary is eying the talented Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Olsen to join the cast.

Now, being that the script isn't even turned into the head honchos for review, we can't expect to get the characters these people are expected to portray. Besides having these 2 join the cast, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is also rumored to take a lead role in the film. Sounds pretty "Kick-Ass" if I do say so myself *slapping my knees*.

Godzilla, directed by Gareth Edwards, is set to begin production next month for a release next March 14th, 2014. That doesn't leave much time for casting to be finished, so expect official words on these people sooner than later.

Comics: Pick & Pull for February 6th, 2013

This is a new thing that I will be trying out here and there, but essentially it's a post to show you what comes out this week in comics that I (maybe not you) believe will be worth checking out. If you have any suggestions just let me know and I'd be glad to check it out or add it to the Pick & Pull list.

So for the first ever Pick & Pull we have a few books to mention.

Biggest Checkouts

Detective Comics #17 - We get to see meet some brand-new villains that kick off a new story arc after the events in the "Death of a Family" storyline. enough said. Sounds like a for sure check out!

Red Team #1 - I'm a huge fan of Garth Ennis since his Punisher MAX days and he knows how to create suspense, violence and memorable characters. This book features an elite anti-narcaotics unit going through great measures to get the job done with they get matched against a great force.

All-New X-Men #7 - There are a lot of books featuring X-Men or members of it, but this book just takes the cake for being so great every single issue and a must read. We get to see how Mistique will interact with the original X-Team…very very interesting.

Superior Spider-Man #3 - This series just created so much controversy from the beginning and how they are messing with spideys past relationships, but you know what? This series has pushed all the right buttons so far and created amazing dialogue and scenarios that makes it fun to read.

Hit Girl #5 (of 5) - Finally! I gave up on waiting for this book to come out that I almost forgot to add it to the list. Hit Girl is finally getting the closing chapter it had been needing for quite some time now.

New Avengers #3 - Being pretty new this series was pretty strong from the beginning and now in this issue we get to the Illuminati do their thing, and best part a new member will be graced with joining them! Who is it!?!?

There is way more books to check out but for time and space just head on down to your local comic shop and check them all out and see what meets your fancy. You never know what might catch your eye. Go have some fun my fellow Nerds!

Disney CEO Confirms Standalone Star Wars Movies

Disney is very happy to get their hands on Star Wars because they plan to milk that puppy all that they can by the looks of it. Disney CEO Bob Iger was interviewed by CNBC and he stated that they have plans to make standalone Star Wars films besides the new trilogy over a 6 year period.

Iger stated "We are in fact working on a few stand-alone films, (Lawrence) Kasdan and Simon Kinberg are both working on films derived from great Star Wars characters that are not part of the overall saga. So we plan to make Star Wars VII, VIII and IX over roughly a six-year period of time starting in 2015. But there are going to be a few other films released in that period of time too."

He was keen in not stating which characters these standalone films will revolve around, but rumors are in full motion with Yoda, Boba Fett, Jedi stories, to many more. The lineup in just so rich in backstory to be mined. I'm still hoping for a Jar Jar Binks standalone film. Me so called Jar Jar Binks: The journey to me Home or something like that.

More to come! What do you think about that move on Disney to milk Star Wars? Do you want a Yoda film?

Chris Pratt Cast as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy has their lead star! The role of Peter Quill aka Star-Lord will go to Zero Dark Thirty's Chris Platt *wait who? Ohhh the guy from Parks and Recreational*. Deadline is reporting that Marvel has locked done Pratt to lead the very very left field intergalactic superhero team consisting of Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, and Groot.

Star-Lord is the leader of the Guardians, who is of earth, but finds out that his father is an alien. (Soo is that intergalactic erotica? hmmm). He is later taken in by a intergalactic conflict that will lead to him being the leader. Sounds cool and very outlandish for Marvel, which I think is needed to keep this universe fresh.

James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy will hit theaters August 1, 2014

Rumor: Marvel has Big Plans for Hulk after Avengers 2

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR MARVEL'S FUTURE FILMS!!!

This is some big news, if it turns out to be true, we will be seeing more Hulk than we initially thought. Bruce Banner/Hulk isn't getting his own film in Marvel's Phase II, although he was the life and best part of The Avengers. So, what does that mean for the big giant? Well, he will be given a Phase III movie and a huge part of The Avengers 3. Now, just take all of what I said and will say as rumors from  a source at Latino Review (which they have been pretty spot on with a lot of Marvel news).

So, stating that we are having a huge slate of Phase II sequels to Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, The Avengers, and new entries Guardians of the Galaxy than Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange for Phase III. The Hulk is nowhere in sight until The Avengers 2. Well, with what rumors have been circulating, the Hulk will be given a third act or post-credit scene to set up his on film in Phase III. Pretty sweet huh? gets better…

The Hulks next standalone film is based on Planet Hulk! That is just awesome!!

  • So how does that post-credit scene lead up to that? The Marvel Cinematic version of the Illuminati (in comics consist of Iron Man, Reed Richards, Black Bolt, Prof. X, etc…) will deem the Hulk too dangerous for Earth and ship the guy into space. He will end up on a plant…Planet Hulk…well actually it's called Sakaar. He will go to gladiator-type games against other aliens, while being enslaved and then becomes a hero and starts a rebellion against the King. *causes trouble everywhere doesn't he*.

Doesn't end there, no sir!

  • Well, somewhere down the line Hulk makes his way back to earth. And I don't know about you but I'd be a wee bit POed at the guys who sent me into deep space. So the rumors go that The Avengers 3 will largely be based the hit series World War Hulk, where Banner and his new army take on the Avengers, who banished him. Sounds absolutely crazy! So crazy it just might work.
This is all speculation for now, but if true we shall see Hulk be a bigger part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with adaptions of Planet Hulk and World War Hulk. Expect news to come !

New Trailer for Rob Zombie's The Lords of Salem

The new trailer for Rob Zombie's new horror film The Lords of Salem has arrived online and well it's directed towards more normal audience than the last trailer, but still very good.

Rob Zombie has been working on this film for quite some time now and I'm actually more intrigued by this now, being I'm a huge fan of Devil's Rejects and sorta Halloween but still a big fan of this guy.

Synopsis: From the singular mind of horror maestro Rob Zombie comes a chilling plunge into a nightmare world where evil runs in the blood. The Lords of Salem tells the tale of Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie), a radio station DJ living in Salem, Massachusetts, who receives a strange wooden box containing a record, a “gift from the Lords.” Heidi listens, and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of the town’s violent past. Is Heidi going mad, or are the “Lords of Salem” returning for revenge on modern-day Salem?

The Lords of Salem hit theaters on April 19th

Teaser Poster for Fast & Furious 6 has Arrived

This is kind of a cool teaser poster for Fast & Furious 6 (Holy cow! already up to 6 films) that was posted by Vin Diesel himself on Facebook. The poster arrives just before the 60 second Super Bowl spot hitting later tonight, which I will post later.

Here is the official synopsis that was posted online a few days ago.

Since Dom and Brian's Rio heist toppled a kingpin's empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

Meanwhile, Hobbs has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

Fast & Furious 6 drives into theaters on May 24th

Super Bowl Ads: Time Warner Walking Dead Spots are Awesome

The Super Bowl is coming very soon, but it's never too early to get the ads beforehand! I Mean isn't that the only reason we watch the game is for commercials. We are bound to get some sweet movie previews and it's always cool to get a few good product placement ads.

Here is Time Warner's spots featuring zombies galore in this funny The Walking Dead themed spots. Also, we get a hilarious few *literally few lines* from Daryl Dixon himself. Check them out below

Cover Art and Release Date for Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore

Iron Man is coming at us full force this year with Iron Man 3 hitting theaters on May 3rd. Although first we will get a direct-to-video feature film starring Iron Man called Iron Man: The Rise of Technovore on April 16th. Thats quite a lot of Iron Man this spring.

Here is the full official synopsis: Billionaire Tony Stark, in his Iron Man armor, prevents an attack from a mysterious new foe, but innocent bystanders are killed, including his best friend War Machine, Lt. Colonel James Rhodes.  Detained for questioning by S.H.I.E.L.D., Iron Man escapes, determined to find the mastermind behind the attack. Pursued by Black Widow and Hawkeye, Iron Man enlists the help of the ruthless vigilante The Punisher.  But can the Armored Avenger handle what he finds when he catches the person responsible and is forced to face his deadliest weapon, a biotechnology called Technovore that could wipe out all life on the planet?

Is it just me or did that pretty much give us the entire plot to the film….. anyways sounds pretty cool. Espcaiclly really awesome to bring The Punisher into it because he needs some love now too.

Iron Man/Tony Stark will be voiced bu Matthew Mercer and The Punisher/Frank Castle by Norman Reedus (sounds like a goodish take on it).

Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore hits streets on Blu-ray and DVD April 16th

Comics: Batman and Robin Annual #1 Review

Okay, here is my first review of comics on the site….so stay with me here. I've been slowly working my way back into comics over the last few months catching up on everything from the New 52 to Marvel NOW. My top interest have been Batman for a while now, (used to be Marvel, but Batman is just killing it right now). I'll try to do a review on the current epic crossover "Death of a Family" soon, but for now lets stay a little light-hearted with one truly great annual.

Batman and Robin Annual #1 is written by Peter J. Tomasi, who currently writes the series, and drawn by long-time DC artist Adrian Syaf. Syaf isn't the normal artist of the series, but I have no complaints there at all! His art is just beautiful throughout the entire annual. It just has a way of storytelling in itself. In one panel we have a heartfelt looking moment then the next a brawl in the streets of gotham. The atmosphere of the issue is greatly helped by Syaf.

The real great heartwarming moments come from the dialogue Tomasi has accomplished perfectly to get that smile out of you. Tomasi has had one great story arc after the next in the series, but with recent issues taking darker tones for the family arc, we kind of needed a lighter issue. It shows us this is a family that does care for each other more than just having each others back in battle. After all they are father and son. The story is simple yet heart warming because we see Bruce reconnecting with his families past, while we see Damien going out and patrolling as a miniature batman. Smiles shall commence throughout almost every page.

This issue is full of tenderness heartwarming family bonding we honestly don't see very much in the Wayne house, while keeping action in the streets of Gotham there. I actually kind of like Damien more, which says a lot. Guaranteed smiles are from Alfred doing his acting and his great sense of humor.
