Marvel Studios the Biggest Movie Franchise Ever Now

This comes to no shock to anyone that watches movie ever. Marvel has officially became the highest grossing movie series in the domestic box office with over $2.46 billion in sales over 9 movies.

That surpasses Harry Potter (8 movies), Star Wars (6 movies), and James Bond (23 films) to be the top grossing franchise. That is pretty prestigious thing to get just with 9 movies.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is currently raising the number as it broke box office records for opening weekend. Also, with a list of movies coming out over the next couple of years, expect it to continue to rise above all others.

James Spader Cast as Ultron in Avengers 2!

Marvel wanted to break into the comic news area again after being shadowed by Ben Affleck thing. They decided it was a great time to announce who exactly will be playing the big baddie in Avengers: Age of Ultron. That person is James Spader!

James Spader is best known for being Alan Shore on Boston Legal and The Practice. Couldn't tell you anything about those shows because I'm not realllly sure that I have the right shows in my head. Boston Legal or The West Wing hmmm…never mind..political shows aren't my thing. Although, We geeks know him best as Dr. Dan Jackson from Stargate! Ya!

Ultron is going to be a big villain for the team of returning members and new members of The Avengers. It is a little fuzzy on how Ultron is going to be made without Dr. Hank Pym creating him, since, he won't really get introduced until Phase 3. Only time will tell..

The Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to theaters May 1, 2015

Comic-Con: Avengers Sequel Officially Titled 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' + Logo!

Marvel just dropped a huge bomb! They sneakily entered a quick little trailer into their Hall H presentation for the Avengers sequel! It is officially titled Avengers: Age of Ultron.

This was a huge surprise and greatly loved by anyone who read the crossover series this summer! This is big news for where we will see this series go. We actually might get to see more of Hank Pym before  the Antman movie likely.

The footage was showing a alien temple with a man walking up to it and than some quick footage of The Avengers with lines from the first one. Than we get a shot of Ultron's pretty CGI face! Than bam title pops up to crowd applause.

I can not wait for this!

Thoughts on Marvel using comic story arc for film?

Quicksilver Cast in X-Men: Days of Future Past! (Will Cause Problems for Avengers 2?)

Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox are going to cause problems in the Marvel Universe.

Well, before I get into the big legal problems that are sure to arise. Bryan Singer announced through twitter that actor Evan Peters (Kick Ass, American Horror Story) has been cast as Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Now commence how this causes a lot of problems.

Where to begin? Hmmm. Lets start with Marvel Studios announced that in the current script for The Avengers 2, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were going to be joining the cast. Thats cool and all, but they problems were they are Magneto's kids and thats were it gets legal fuzzy.

20th Century Fox owns the rights to X-Men and it's catalog of mutants. That includes Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff) and Quicksilver (Pietro Maximoff) kids to non other than Magneto himself. So Marvel Studios, owned by Disney, have their legal hands full of how to get this scenario to work. Well, reports are saying Marvel could use the two characters as along as they don't say who they are kids of or they are "mutants". Yes Fox has the rights to "mutants".

Does Marvel and Fox have an agreement to use the characters 2 separate films? Or did Fox just pull this out of nowhere to really stick it Marvel about stealing two of their characters? You don't see Captain America aka Steve Rodgers showing up in The Wolverine without the Stars and Stripes.

Apparently more reports are coming in saying that Marvel can indeed use the characters, but not the mutant names, but can use, Piertro and Wanda, their real names. That makes sense but sucks for fanboys seeing these characters in separate universes a year apart. They could somehow down the road merge the universes into a super marvel cinematic universe.

HitFix reports "we're going to see is a legally-negotiated stand-off in which we'll get two totally different versions of one character. While (Fox and Marvel) may act like things are amicable in public, HitFix sources say otherwise." They add, "The way the arrangement works, Marvel Studios cannot refer to the character as a 'mutant,' and they can't mention Magneto at all. Likewise, Fox can't make any reference to The Avengers in their film.  That means they'll have to either explain his powers in a different way in The Avengers 2, or they'll just have to make no mention of his origin at all."

More info to come in due time when this all gets figured out

The full 3-minute trailer has made its way online today and gave more insight to what exactly the series is about. It looks very well done and might be very interesting to see where the series will lead us. Best part is Agent Coulson Lives!!

The First Trailer for 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

The Avengers was a huge thing last year if you missed it. You'd have to be under a rock to have missed any news about it, but they announced they are making a tv series based around agents in the S.H.I.E.L.D. doing their thing when the Avengers are off doing bigger things. I will say that one guy in the trailer reminds me of Luke Cage a lot. (not just because he's big and black, but because he's strong and powerful!). Anyways, check out the trailer and see how it actually doesn't look too bad being it's on ABC.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series.  “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

After the jump is the trailer make sure to check it out!

First Poster for Thor: The Dark World Online!

Marvel Studios will have yet another big year. They have Iron Man 3 coming out in just weeks and Thor: The Dark World in November. We haven't seen much of anything for Thor so we are due for something good. We now have a nice little poster for the film that features Thor (Chris Hemsworth) himself.

The sequel takes place in the aftermath of Thor and Marvel's The Avengers, following Thor as he fights to restore order across the cosmos when an ancient race, led by the vengeful Malekith, returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Thor: The Dark World strikes theaters on November 8th

Top 10 Best Comic Book Cartoon TV Shows of All-Time

We all love our cartoons when we are young and even older and even older. The ones that tend to stick with us even after we get "too old" for Saturday morning cartoons are superhero themed ones. Particularly ones based off of comic books. So I have complied a list of what I consider the beset tv shows based off comic books. The range is big and a few are highly predictable, but they are all truly great for separate reasons.

The Batman (2004-2008)

The Batman is a series that I despised when I first saw it because 1. It wasn’t Batman The Animated Series 2. It wasn’t in the DC Animated Universe. After watching the first episode, I was instantly hooked! Who Knew? This show changed the way animated cartoons were done in the DC/WB area of animation and it brought to screen great villains and great redone legendary villains like The Penguin and The Joker and Heroes. They were just fun and the younger Bruce Wayne was great with adding Robin and Batgirl than doing Justice League in final season. Bringing back some DC Animated Universe (DCAU) Favs to voice their characters again. Gave me a soft spot for this series.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aka TMNT (2003-2009)

Don’t get me wrong, I love the original 80s version for what it is..but...the series in TMNT fan eyes is lackluster and too childish. Than came the 2003 series and it was way different and more adult. Still not as adult as comic, but it gave us funny one-liners and great action with a cool shredder. The series had cool seasons and even went into the future. It just covered so much of the turtles world. The best part was the series finale/tv film that combined all the different series into one great tv movie. TMNT does have a new series that is growing on me nicely, it gets the humor spot on.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994-1998)

Here is the longest running series based on Spider-Man and 2nd longest Marvel series period. Fox Kids had the best superhero programming in the 90s with this, X-Men, Batman, and others. I was glued to that channel. Spider-Man has had more tv series since way back in the 70s, but this 90s modern take on him was the absolute best. It gave us Peter Parker during his college years working at the Daily Bugle. The animation was superb and the dialogue was actually really great with the inner-monologue of Spider-Man himself, just like the comic books. We got to see the classic spidey villains like Kingpin, Green Goblin, Lizard, Doc Ock, and Venom. Although, my favorite part was we got to see The Punisher make his appreance a few times along with Blade, Doc Strange and even Captain America. There was even a great crossover with X-Men. What else could you ask for in an amazing Spider-Man series. (see what I did there).

Teen Titans (2003-2006)

The animation alone is drastically different then almost every other DC cartoon, and that is a great thing! The anime animation style was able to bring the emotion and humor out of the characters that made the show memorable. We finally got to see Robin and the team take main stage and Cyborg is just hilarious. Don’t think the show was all fun and games, it did get pretty serious in a lot episodes, with Ron Perlman as Slade. The characters were well thought out and presented perfect for the age group they were made for, but they did impress the older group with the humor. You have to love this show.

Batman Beyond (1999-2001)

Batman in the future. Period. Also, takes place after Batman:TAS, which makes it even more awesome! Batman Beyond took the Timmverse into a big new direction with going into the future so far we actually get to see an old (very old) Bruce Wayne, still being voiced by Kevin Conroy. Bruce hangs up the cowl in the first episode and we meet the new Batman, Terry McGinnis. This new batman still has all the humor and will to do the job, but we get a brand new suit that is awesome (and capeless) and new gadgets. Bruce became an Alfred role, while Barbara Gordon is chief, and Robin is a tech guy. Pretty cool to see where they all ended up going. We also get some awesome new villains in Gotham and return of some old ones. This series was a Timmverse high that ended too soon in my opinion, it was even green-lit for a 4th season, but Justice League deterred that. I hope one day we see more of this world and it’s heroes/villains in animation or film.

Do you have an idea what they top 5 shows will be? Well come on and see if you know what it is.

Rumor: Marvel has Big Plans for Hulk after Avengers 2

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR MARVEL'S FUTURE FILMS!!!

This is some big news, if it turns out to be true, we will be seeing more Hulk than we initially thought. Bruce Banner/Hulk isn't getting his own film in Marvel's Phase II, although he was the life and best part of The Avengers. So, what does that mean for the big giant? Well, he will be given a Phase III movie and a huge part of The Avengers 3. Now, just take all of what I said and will say as rumors from  a source at Latino Review (which they have been pretty spot on with a lot of Marvel news).

So, stating that we are having a huge slate of Phase II sequels to Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, The Avengers, and new entries Guardians of the Galaxy than Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange for Phase III. The Hulk is nowhere in sight until The Avengers 2. Well, with what rumors have been circulating, the Hulk will be given a third act or post-credit scene to set up his on film in Phase III. Pretty sweet huh? gets better…

The Hulks next standalone film is based on Planet Hulk! That is just awesome!!

  • So how does that post-credit scene lead up to that? The Marvel Cinematic version of the Illuminati (in comics consist of Iron Man, Reed Richards, Black Bolt, Prof. X, etc…) will deem the Hulk too dangerous for Earth and ship the guy into space. He will end up on a plant…Planet Hulk…well actually it's called Sakaar. He will go to gladiator-type games against other aliens, while being enslaved and then becomes a hero and starts a rebellion against the King. *causes trouble everywhere doesn't he*.

Doesn't end there, no sir!

  • Well, somewhere down the line Hulk makes his way back to earth. And I don't know about you but I'd be a wee bit POed at the guys who sent me into deep space. So the rumors go that The Avengers 3 will largely be based the hit series World War Hulk, where Banner and his new army take on the Avengers, who banished him. Sounds absolutely crazy! So crazy it just might work.
This is all speculation for now, but if true we shall see Hulk be a bigger part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with adaptions of Planet Hulk and World War Hulk. Expect news to come !

NYCC: Agent Coulson Will Star in TV Series S.H.I.E.L.D !!

At NYCC this weekend, Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb announced that Agent Phil Coulson will return but to the small screen in the live-action pilot 'Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D'! I'm excited! I thought we saw "SPOILER" end of him after he died in The Avengers "SPOILER" sorry if I hurt some of you but if you didn't see the movie yet its all your fault I ruined it just sayin.. anyways.

Clark Gregg made a surprise appreance that the panel to announce it with a video of Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige. The pilot will be co-written between the Joss and Jed Whedon.

Editorial: Top 8 Robert Downey, Jr. Films

Robert Downey, Jr. is an actor who has seen every aspect of Hollywood from being on the D-list all the way to a comeback to A-list where he belongs. Downey started his career a few decades ago as a child and grew more fame in 80's appearing as a distant "Brat Pack" member. He started to take a more serious tone in the early 90's with academy recognition. Although, his career hit a wall in mid 90's to early 00's with multiple personal problems that affected his career also. He fought to gain back that recognition he once had he overly succeeded at breaking though the wall. Here are his best works to date and notice that all appear after his comeback except one.

8.  Weird Science (1985)

This is back when Robert was still a kid doing the bully roles he is oh so good at. He was the perfect bully as Ian in Weird Science to Michael Anthony Hall and IIan Mitchell-Smith. He was funny and cool and a d-bag at same time. Even though his role was small and before his break-through he was memorable. This is the film that opened up the world to Robert Downey Jr.

7. A Scanner Darkly (2006)

Here is another film that Downey was a supporting cast member and stole the show in the end. His character James Barris is really great at showing how he can be manipulative of others and not show it easily, while still being funny and personable. He has a scene where he buys a bike and that one scene is maybe the most memorable and funniest. If your a fan of Downey doing his whole rants and talking fast then this film is for you.

6.  Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Sherlock Holmes is Robert Downey Jr. plain and simple. This was not the Sherlock you have read for decades and always thought he was brilliant and without good humor or likability. This interpretation is brilliant with fantastic humor and he is lovable to all. How could Watson ever want to quit the team? The accent is dead on and Downey really does acting that isn't in his comfort zone.

5. The Avengers (2012)

I know everyone is shocked that the 3rd highest grossing film of all-time and biggest nerd/geek movie ever is number 5 on the list. Here me out first on why this must be. Downey was a huge factor going into this film, even though he is a big part of it he isn't the biggest shining one. Bruce Banner stole the show and it was his time to shine. Tony had his moment a few years back. Stark was on his A-game the entire film and proved he was just as big a leader as Captain America. This is still the same Stark we saw in first Iron man (just a little more grown up) but still noteworthy to list in top 5 and for sure the top best of the year.

You must see what the Top 4 Robert Downey, Jr. films are to be satisfied with the list

Ben Affleck Directing and Starring in Justice League Film?

I know you are likely scratching your head after reading that the guy from Gigli or Mall Rats is in the eyes of Warner Bros. to direct the highly anticipated superhero film Justice League! Well, it isn't that far fetched with Affleck becoming a very serious director in recent years with some critically popular films Gone Baby Gone and The Town. He has become one of hollywoods most sought after directors and he does come with a plus (or minus), he will only direct movies he stars in also to some capacity. So expect him to suit up likely.

Affleck, at the moment, is the only person the Will Beall (Gangster Squad) written Justice League script was sent to. This is a big move on Warner Bros. to show such hope that he will accept. The script was completed last summer but has been saved until they decided on who to offer the film to and it will bring DC Comics biggest heroes together including Batman, Superman, Green lantern, Wonder Woman, and The Flash. That is going to be one epic hero film that will rival The Avengers in all aspects. The craziest part is they are eying a possible Summer 2015 release date!!

I think this could be a mistake since we don't have any Marvel set-up with single films before hand. It could be smart for Warner Bros. to decide to have 2 films each year starting with Superman next year and have a film by 2018. Gives more time to tie the worlds together and give characters origins (excluding Superman and Batman). America needs some Flash and Wonder Woman introduction.

The only hold-up that could effect Ben from taking the job is the commitment. He is a high demand director and actor at the moment and if he took the job, it would put him unavailable as director the next couple of years. He still would be able to act in other films, likely, but limited number of time away from film.

The coolest part about it maybe coming in 2015 is it will square off agaist Joss Whedon's The Avengers 2. This could end up becoming the biggest battle ever at box office and nerds will rejoice everywhere.

Affleck is supposed to meet with Warner Bros. later this week to talk about it and maybe soon we get a decision on what he shall chose. I'm all for it!!!

Marvel and Fox might Swap Comic Book Characters! Story so far

This is some pretty cool and weird tactics for Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox (Fox) to get the best out of a deal over some comic book character like Daredevil and Galactus!

This whole fiasco started years ago when Marvel sold out the rights for its characters to big studios to make films. Well, in those contracts the characters will revert back to Marvel if a film based on the character is not made by a certain date. In this case, Daredevil is owned by Fox for now until October 10th this year, unless a film is in production of some sorts. Of course Fox doesn't want to rush into a big speed version of film making to produce a crap film to keep the rights. They have been in negoations of sorts with Marvel to offer a trade of characters for extended time period to make Daredevil. The characters are pretty good card for Fox to pull if they decide to play.

Marvel came up with a smart deal to get Fox to offer Marvel some Fantastic Four characters (not the core team) in that universe in exchange for a extended deadline for Daredevil. The big trade would bring the huge giant Galactus back to Marvel. This would allow for them to put him in later films, maybe even the Phase 2 Avenger films as a big villain. Marvel would really like to acquire Silver Surfer with the deal, but he is currently locked up in development of the Fantastic Four film currently in pre-production with director Josh Trank (Chronicle). This could be great news for Fox who is in talks with director Joe Carnahan (The Grey) for Daredevil.

More of the crazy deal after the jump

Comic Con: First Look at Iron Man 3 Armor!!

Comic-Con has been in full swing for a few days now and so much information and announcements are bound to happen each day that it's been a little hard to keep up. Especially when my internet is out most of time during the worst week of all time! So I will try to get as many post in as possible and do a recap of day's biggest announcements. Bare with me on this endeavor.

The Marvel Booth has the yearly display of the Iron Man Armor and today they surprised us with a new display of armor from Iron Man 3! The armor is a different look than what we are used too with changing the red with slight bit of gold into a mostly gold with some red in it. I can't say I'm the biggest fan of it, but it's not horrible. Check it out for yourself.

Iron Man 3 hits theaters on May 3, 2013

Most Anticipated Films of 2012

2012 is here and It will be full of huge blockbusters of all sorts. I won't be surprised if this year will break records in all categories. Here is a list of some of the biggest anticipated films in order of release date not rank. My number one ranked film is The Dark Knight Rises for your information (the 8 times I'll see it will prove that.)

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (March 2)

This isn't that child fairytale we have all been told by our grandparents, this is a brutal action film that will hopefully be awesome. Not to much has been revealed on the film, even though the release is 3 months away. This is a bit scary but I'll give anything with Jeremy Renner a fighting chance. A trailer should be released very soon. Keep a look out.

21 Jump Street (March 16)

Jonah Hill skinny. Enough said. Seriously though it can get tiring with having old 80s sitcoms being made into movies but with comedy angle to it. Some work, most have no chance. I will give this movie a chance with a great cast and a pretty good story. After watching the red band trailer, you will want to see this film too.

The Hunger Games (March 23)

This is the next big teen blockbuster to take the reigns from Twilight or so they hope. The story is actually pretty promising for more than just girls this time. Also, they have some good actors in this movie. So check it out in March.

American Reunion (April 6)

The next chapter in the popular American Pie series, but this one will return to the original cast and theaters again. I'm excited to see Stifler and everyone back for a high school reunion. Trailer proves there is some pretty crazy things going on since the last time and crazy things will happen.

The Cabin in the Woods (April 13)

Finally!! Finally this movie will be released in theaters. After years of being delayed and pushed back and converted in 3D it will hit theaters in a few months. Joss Whedon will be having a great year with 2 movies being released within a few months of each other. Cabin is a twisted horror like movie that I think will turn out really well done.

The Avengers (May 4)

Quite easily the biggest film of 2012 to comic book nerds. It will bring all of The Avengers together for the first time and it will be glorious. I get more Iron Man and more Hawkeye, what more is there for me. Just be ready for when they assemble.

Prometheus (June 8)

Nothing can really be known about this movie other than it will be along the lines of Alien. The trailer even makes it seem like a remake or reboot or prequel. You choose. The actors are all phenomenal and this will be a movie that will make believers out of the doubters.

The Amazing Spider-Man (July 3)

Bless Marc Webb for rebooting Spider-Man into what looks like a spectacular movie. The series really needed to go back to the high-school years and explore that era. This film has the talent to make that happen perfectly. Also, I can't wait to take my girlfriend to see it.

The Dark Knight Rises (July 20)

I have waited years for this film to finally get released. I mean years. This is the end of the best superhero trilogy of all time, and I think it will go out with a huge bang. The trailer gives up chills and it will be a huge hit. I'll let you know how it is after a few (8 at least) times of seeing it.

The Bourne Legacy (August 3)

After 3 really amazing Bourne movies it is time to move on to the next assassin and it's the amazing Renner again. His 3rd movie on my list and I suspect he will have an amazing year with his films. Not much is known about the film other than it's not a sequel or reboot, but a story set in same universe. So I am very intrigued.

NO PIC OR TRAILER YET
(TBA)

The Hobbit (December 14)

After the extremely amazing (long) Lord of the Rings trilogy is finished, we felt like we needed a sequel of some sorts. Well, we will be blessed with a prequel that is full of adventure and dwarfs. The story is so grand we will need 2 films. (Thank god it is not 3 this time) The film looks epic to say the least.

This is a very opinionated list from me and I know there are plenty of movies that everyone is looking forward to see. So list yours down below, may it be (hopefully not) Twilight or another major film.

The Avengers Trailer!!

Finally we have been blessed with the long-waited for trailer for the upcoming epic nerdgasm film The Avengers. The trailer actually shows more footage then I thought Joss Whedon would allow knowing his vow to secretcy almost on par with J.J. Abrams. The footage looks really amazing and it gives everyone screen time accept I would like to see more of Hawkeye and Hulk. Also, I'm loving Stark's humor, it's fantastic as always.

Summer 2012 will be blockbuster crazy with The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, and The  Avengers.

The Avengers assembles on May 4, 2012

New Pics from The Avengers

I know i've missed so much of The Avengers coverage over the last couple of months. I am sorry again. So I'll start fresh with some awesome photos that were featured in EW and other sites last week with 2 brand new ones that popped up online.

The first (new) photos feature a epic scene with Captain America (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) looking up at what I assume to be the enemy. The second new image is of director Joss Whedon talking to Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) with a guy posing like fonzie in the background.

The Avengers assemble in theaters on May 4, 2012

Other photos are awesome and are worth looking at after the jump

The Avengers Starts Production and First Photo!

Marvel Studios released a press release on the production of the mega-anticipated film The Avengers. Also, they released a first image of production and it's not the most actiony but it is a great teaser.

Here is the image followed by the official press release:

Press Release: Production has commenced today in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Marvel Studios' highly anticipated movie "Marvel's The Avengers," directed by Joss Whedon ("Serenity") from a screenplay by Whedon.  The film will continue principal photography in Cleveland, Ohio and New York City. Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel's The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

Captain America Superbowl Trailer

The first footage of Captain America was shown during the Superbowl and did it live up to expectations. You can decide for yourself. My only little doubt lays in the costume. It's not bad, but it has a campy feel to it. UPDATE: I posted a screenshot of Red Skull after the jump. I don't want to spoil anything for viewers.

Here is the first trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger.

Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters on July 22.

Here is the poster that was released this weekend
