New Iron Man 3 Trailer is Crazy Awesome!

The newest trailer for Iron Man 3 hit the net and it's pretty epic! The first trailer gave us the feeling of dread and darkness, which is new for the series. Naturally we were wondering if the newest trailer would continue that mood and I have to say its there. I love it!

Shane Black taking over the reigns of the franchise was a fantastic breathe of air because of his great dialogue and sense of humor. You have to love Lethal Weapon or Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. The man has put his action background into overdrive for this film as the trailer shows. I only hope that Stark and Rhodes have a Lethal Weapon partner relationship feel to them.

Check out the insane action driven trailer below

Rumor: Iron Man 3 to Have Guardians of the Galaxy Cameo?

If Marvel does one thing great, that one thing is cameos in all their films to date. All the way back to Iron Man 1 to The Avengers. So why would it stop at Iron Man 3? I didn't think it would, but hearing Tony Stark himself, Robert Downey Jr., say
“But we can’t help it — everywhere you look now in every Marvel movie there are opportunities where certain new pals of [Tony’s] could be useful. So they’re in the atmosphere, so to speak, but I wouldn’t expect to see them on the ground in this one.”
See! Good play on words there good sir. The choice of words never really gave us any proof he will team up to battle, but they never touch ground gives us something around like Guardians of the Galaxy.  Guardians isn't even casting yet, but maybe we will see something filmed before the release this summer.

Here is the pretty slick "deep space suit" for Iron Man 3 toy line. It's adorable and gives us some spoilers about were Tony will take an adventure to.

Also, Latino Review got a exclusive news from their "insiders" saying
"According to sources, at the end of Iron Man 3, Tony actually does go up into space to hook up with the Guardians of The Galaxy where I also hear he appears at the end of that movie as well."
That is pretty huge news! This fits perfectly into Marvels grand scheme of cameos quite nicely. Then guessing all this will end up with Thanos being villain for The Avengers 2.

First Trailer for 'Iron Man 3' has Arrived

The trailer for Iron Man 3 has arrived as promised from Apple Trailers. My first reactions to it are holy cow! this is going to awesome! They went dark for the third time around and it fits nicely.

The trailer gives us so many clues to the plot and where the Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading for phase II. We get confirmation that it does take place after the event in The Avengers with hearing how what happened in New York affected him. Also, we see how Tony is breaking down and probably regretting unveiling who he is now. Good thinking Batman for staying hidden.

The next biggest question from the trailer for me is "will the Mandarin have ties to Captain America?!" watch the trailer below and when we see Ben Kingsley from behind we see the Captain America shield  tattooed to his back. Did he get drunk one night and do it? was it a dare? who knows?

Here is the trailer

Official 'Iron Man 3' Poster and Ben Kinglsley as Mandarin

This is going to be a big week for Marvel, especially Iron Man because we have been given an official poster for the film and a first creepy image of the big bad villain The Mandarin. Also, the best part is the  trailer gets released tomorrow!!

The first poster gives us a great look at armor trophy case I mean Hall of Armor. It looks pretty sweet and full of lots of Iron. It shall hold me up until the trailer premieres.

New Iron Man 3 Movie Poster

An extra cool little tidbit given out today is the first image of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin! He looks very creepy and great pube beard if i do say so myself. Put's my uncle Tommy to shame. Check it out

Editorial: Top 8 Robert Downey, Jr. Films

Robert Downey, Jr. is an actor who has seen every aspect of Hollywood from being on the D-list all the way to a comeback to A-list where he belongs. Downey started his career a few decades ago as a child and grew more fame in 80's appearing as a distant "Brat Pack" member. He started to take a more serious tone in the early 90's with academy recognition. Although, his career hit a wall in mid 90's to early 00's with multiple personal problems that affected his career also. He fought to gain back that recognition he once had he overly succeeded at breaking though the wall. Here are his best works to date and notice that all appear after his comeback except one.

8.  Weird Science (1985)

This is back when Robert was still a kid doing the bully roles he is oh so good at. He was the perfect bully as Ian in Weird Science to Michael Anthony Hall and IIan Mitchell-Smith. He was funny and cool and a d-bag at same time. Even though his role was small and before his break-through he was memorable. This is the film that opened up the world to Robert Downey Jr.

7. A Scanner Darkly (2006)

Here is another film that Downey was a supporting cast member and stole the show in the end. His character James Barris is really great at showing how he can be manipulative of others and not show it easily, while still being funny and personable. He has a scene where he buys a bike and that one scene is maybe the most memorable and funniest. If your a fan of Downey doing his whole rants and talking fast then this film is for you.

6.  Sherlock Holmes (2009)

Sherlock Holmes is Robert Downey Jr. plain and simple. This was not the Sherlock you have read for decades and always thought he was brilliant and without good humor or likability. This interpretation is brilliant with fantastic humor and he is lovable to all. How could Watson ever want to quit the team? The accent is dead on and Downey really does acting that isn't in his comfort zone.

5. The Avengers (2012)

I know everyone is shocked that the 3rd highest grossing film of all-time and biggest nerd/geek movie ever is number 5 on the list. Here me out first on why this must be. Downey was a huge factor going into this film, even though he is a big part of it he isn't the biggest shining one. Bruce Banner stole the show and it was his time to shine. Tony had his moment a few years back. Stark was on his A-game the entire film and proved he was just as big a leader as Captain America. This is still the same Stark we saw in first Iron man (just a little more grown up) but still noteworthy to list in top 5 and for sure the top best of the year.

You must see what the Top 4 Robert Downey, Jr. films are to be satisfied with the list

New Cool Avengers Banners

A new banner poster (or just individual posters but together to make a banner) of the main avengers has made its way online. The banner is nothing really new but the Hulk one looks pretty intriguing. Also, I just love how Iron Man has no helmet on while old Capt still has his full mask on, and where is Hawkeye or Black Widow in that banner. Oh wait, another banner has made it's way online a little bit later having the rest of the team (with main villain Loki thrown in) in their very own makeshift banner of posters. Hawkeye looks pretty boss (ya i said boss).

Here is the Banner featuring the main Avengers (Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor)

Here is the "the other guys" plus Hawkeye. He is the only one that should be with the main cast. (Nick Fury, Loki, Hawkeye, Black Widow)

The Avengers assemble in theaters on May 4, 2012

New Poster for Due Date

Warner Bros. Pictures released the poster for Todd Phillip's comedy film Due Date and stars Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, Michelle Monaghan, Alan Arkin, Danny McBride, Jamie Foxx and Juliet Lewis.

Peter Highman (Downey Jr.) is an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan--on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.

Due Date arrives in theaters on November 5, 2010.

SDCC: Marvel Panel with The Avengers Cast!!

The biggest panel to me at Comic-Con this year was the Marvel Studios panel in Hall H. I was pretty blown away with what they did with Tron: Legacy on Thursday, but this definitely steals the show.

The panel would consist of Thor and maybe some footage of Captain America because it's been filming for about 9 days. However,  I was not expecting to anything for The Avengers because it hasn't even began production yet.

The first group at the panel was for Captain America and they started off with a teaser trailer that showed some stuff during WWII and a quick shots of Captain America.

They brought out director Joe Johnston with stars Chris Evans and Hugo Weaving.

Kevin Feige said "The footage of Captain America was just from the costume test."

Right after they finished with Captain America they began the Thor panel with some stellar footage that shows some scenes that sum up the plot.

Then the next bit of news really surprised me because they showed a teaser trailer for The Avengers. The trailer showed nothing but the avengers emblem and a voiceover by Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

They then introduce Sam Jackson himself then they bring out the rest of the cast including Clark Gregg, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America and then Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.

Robert Downey talked about how some people say Inception is the most "ambitious" film ever made and he says bring all of these heroes together for The Avengers would be the most "ambitious" film ever made.

Downey then introduced and confirmed some major news about characters by saying Clinton Barton......is Jeremy Renner and then said "Reprising his role as Bruce Banner....Mark Ruffalo." The last part was funny joke, but sad for Edward Norton.

So, at the end of the day we got to see a teaser for Captain America, some sweet footage from Thor and a teaser trailer that is very teasing because it shows no footage at all of The Avengers. This panel sounds pretty amazing.

Here is picture of The Avengers cast with new additions Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo. Click pic to make huge.

What you think about the casting and how was this years panel for Marvel. Amazing or okay to say the least? Leave us a comment on what you think.

Trailer for Due Date

Due Date is Todd Phillips (The Hangover, Old School) new road trip comedy starring Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) and Zach Galifinakis (The Hangover) as two strangers trying to get Downey home to see the birth of his child in 5 days. The movie reminds me a lot of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, but that isn't a bad thing. Also, it will nice to see Phillips do another road trip movie thats not a sequel to Road Trip.

Due Date is due to hit theaters on November 5, 2010.

Joss Whedon to Direct The Avengers?

Deadline New York is reporting that Marvel Studios is in final negotiations with Joss Whedon to direct the highly-anticipated film The Avengers. The film is set for a May 4, 2012 release.

It will feature an ensemble cast of stars from the marvel films released up until then. The stars include Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemmsworth (Thor) and more to be announced.

Joss Whedon's credits include Buffy The Vampire Series, Firefly, Serenity, Angel, Dollhouse, and the anticipated The Cabin In The Woods. So, this could be good or bad.

I personally think it's a good choice because i know he is a fan of the series and will bring good ideas to the board. Although, I also believe the producers should keep an eye open for other great directors.

Cowboys and Aliens Casting Change

The news that Robert Downey Jr. was leaving the Jon Favreau-directed movie Cowboys & Aliens made the studio not waste anytime on casting because Bond himself, Daniel Craig is stepping in Downey's place. The news isn't official yet, but he is in talks with the studios to star. Craig is probably the best replacement for Downey, but will he have a connection with Favreau, who is good friends with Downey. Only time will tell.

Trailer of the Week- Iron Man 2

The Trailer of the week is the highly anticipated Iron Man 2. Directed by Jon Favreau and starring Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Mickey Rourke, and Gwyneth Paltrow. The first one was great, but this one looks amazing. I seen some awesome things for this film at Comic-Con. I can't wait to see this follow-up.

The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Paltrow), and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
