Teaser Trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is Here

Sony Pictures released the teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 today and I have to say its not as much teasing as it is revealing! My god Sony why ruin some key post credit moments?! Or we all can be freaking out over something that is in the first 5 min...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer shows us a lot more than I thought it would. It plays on the whole having 3 villains thing a lot. Also a shot that looks like a mid-credit scene too!

It's great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there's no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: Oscorp.

Trailer and Still of little easter egg after jump!

First Official Pics of Jamie Foxx as Electro and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been one of those always open with the fans kind of movies with stuff always being released on twitter by director Marc Webb and cast. Know we get something official from twitter! We get a first look at Jamie Foxx as Electro and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn. Busy last couple of days I would say!

Director Marc Webb tweeted "Day 52. My name is Max.". So that means this lucky fellow is Maxwell Dillion a.k.a. Electro. Love the yarn on the head.

Dane DeHaan (what is it with everyone involved in this film having double letters in their name?!?!) tweeted "Ladies & Gentleman, FanBoys & FanGirls of all ages: I give you The #Amazing Harry Osborn."

More info to follow! I love how this film is shaping up, but the character of Max is different approach than expected but I can roll with it. Just as long as it doesn't go into Jim Carrey Riddler territory. Please

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 spins its web in theaters on May 2, 2014

Dane DeHaan Cast to Play Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

It's Official! Dane DeHaan is set to star as Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and it was announced officially by the director Marc Webb on twitter earlier after a few days of speculation and rumors. There was a short list of actors that were in the running and then some news that producers didn't like the casting ideas and wanted a more "athletic type" Harry. They did a great job on going with Dane. He was amazing earlier in the year with Chronicle. He has the attitude and friendship qualities to him to be amazing in the role. Good choice Marc!

This new additions to the cast are shaping up to be very good so far with Dane and even the odd choice of Jamie Foxx as Electro. I am very intrigued.

What do you think of this Harry?

Jamie Foxx Might Be Electro in 'Spider-Man 2'?

Sony is setting up 'The Amazing Spider-man 2' pretty fast already. The first one isn't even out on video yet, but sources are reporting that Sony is in early talks to get the comedian Jamie Foxx to star as the baddie Electro. Little bit out there but I can see it working out.

The villain Electro hasn't made his way to the big screen..yet, while I would contribute it to him not being a famous known villain to modern fans maybe because of the uhmm lets say corny costume. Don't Get me wrong the guy is a major bad guy with gaining his powers to control electricity from getting struck by lightning. Pretty badass.

In the post-credit scene of The Amazing Spider-Man, Dr. Conners is visited by an unseen person asking if Peter found out the truth about his father. The really big easter egg in the scene may be the bad lightning happening in the background. Pretty big giveaway I would say.

Jamie Foxx seems to be more accepting of the rumors without saying they're false, but rather tweeting a pretty funny tweet that either makes him a) a funny sarcastic guy that goes along with rumors to make fans freakout about the tease or b) he is fully saying yes they are true. I'm leaning towards b for the time being but comedians are just that a funny guy.

New Poster for Due Date

Warner Bros. Pictures released the poster for Todd Phillip's comedy film Due Date and stars Robert Downey Jr., Zach Galifianakis, Michelle Monaghan, Alan Arkin, Danny McBride, Jamie Foxx and Juliet Lewis.

Peter Highman (Downey Jr.) is an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitch a ride with Ethan--on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.

Due Date arrives in theaters on November 5, 2010.
