Arrow, the youngling series, was a no brainer for renewal since it had the biggest series premiere on CW since 2009. Also, holding the biggest draw of viewers on the network every week. It's the golden boy of the network and expect big stuff for the 2nd season.
CW is very excited about this releasing the statement: “We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on," says Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW, "and now with our new hit 'Arrow' and fan favorite 'Supernatural' on Wednesday night, and the continued success of 'The Vampire Diaries' on Thursday, weve been able to do that. Not only do 'Arrow', 'Supernatural', and 'The Vampire Diaries' perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially. I’m thrilled to have all three shows returning to our schedule next season.”
Also, since CW is taking a cool trend into more of cool not high school soaps, we get a renewal of the popular teen vampire series Vampire Diaries.
No News on other shows yet on CW, but who watches any of those? do you?
