Pics of Chris Evans as Captain America

Entertainment Weekly is featuring Chris Evans as Captain America on the cover of the new issue. Also, there are a huge load of images that were scanned from the magazine. I can't wait to see this film on opening night.

Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters on July 22, 2011.

Here is the cover with some other images included in the issue. They look pretty awesome with some of Hugo Weaving, Haley Atwell and a small shot of Stanley Tucci.

Trailer of the Week - Unknown

I recently found this film on the list for next years movies and thought it sounded interesting. The trailer makes it seem even better.

Liam Neeson stars as Dr. Martin Harris, who awakens after a car accident in Berlin to discover that his wife (January Jones) suddenly doesn't recognize him and another man (Aidan Quinn) has assumed his identity.

Unknown hits theaters on January 7, 2011

New 'Tron Legacy' Poster Looks Familiar

Tron: Legacy is one of the most anticipated films of the year and this new poster just adds to the fun. The viral marketing for this film has been very awesome with the sites, Comic-Con, trailers, songs and many more.

The new one sheet looks pretty awesome just by itself, but some may notice similarities between the new poster and the iconic original Tron poster from 1982. This movie is going to be amazing.

Tron: Legacy hits theaters on December 17, 2010.

Scream 4 Trailer Leaked

The trailer for Scream 4 premiered at the 2010 Spike Scream Awards Saturday and somebody in attendance recorded it and uploaded it online. The trailer will be shown, hopefully, on Tuesday during the broadcast of the Scream Awards on Spike.

I really don't want to say anything just yet about the trailer because of the poor quality, but it does look pretty awesome.

Scream 4 stabs into theaters on April 15, 2011

Here is the trailer. I will keep it up until it goes down. So, check it out quickly!!

The official trailer will be released in theaters just in time for Halloween and it should run for around 90 seconds. That is longer than this trailer, it could show more footage.

Tom Hardy Reuniting with Nolan for Batman

Deadline is reporting that actor Tom Hardy has been cast in the untitled Batman sequel. This will mark the second time Hardy has worked with director Christopher Nolan, so I guess he really liked his work in his last film Inception.

The site says "Insiders are keeping the role secret and won't even say if he's up for a villain role, but that seems a reasonable assumption."

Hardy's will have a lead role, so look forward to seeing a lot of him in the movie. He definitely could take on the role of the Riddler.

Footage of Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly

Finally, the never-before-seen-footage of Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly. We should be seeing more awesome footage with the release of the Back to the Future Trilogy on Blu-ray for the first time on October 26.

Many people never knew that there was a different Marty McFly before the awesome Michael J. Fox. That person was Eric Stoltz, he filmed about 5 weeks of footage then got the boot by director Zemeckis and producer Spielberg. He was just too serious for the role.

Here is some of the footage that every BTTF fan has been wanting to see for years.

Bumblebee Demolished On Transformers 3 Set

This is apprentaly not part of the movie. While filming an action scene, a D.C. SUV police vehicle turned on it's sirens and went flying through the set of Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Yes, the lame new title). I guess he really hated Bumblebee because he got rammed by the sweet camaro.

Just check out the video to see Bumblebee get demolished and covered up by the crew.

Courtney Cox, David Arquette Confirmed Separation

It's sad to find out David Arquette and his wife Courtney Cox Arquette have separated after 11 years of marriage.

The couple met during the filming of Scream back in 1995 and he then proposed to her on the set of Scream 3 in 1999

This is the statement they released earlier today "We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply," Then they continued with "As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together. We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well."

So, I hope they get everything sorted soon

Their next film togerther is Scream 4, which hits theaters on April 15, 2011.

Rhys Ifans is the Spider-Man Villain

Actor Ryhs Ifans (Little Nicky, Notting Hill) has been cast as the Spider-Man villain in the reboot. The news just comes days after they announced Emma Stone was playing Gwen Stacy.

President of Columbia Pictures said "We have been very fortunate to attract some of the best actors working today to play the villains in the Spider-Man movies, and it is exciting to see that trend continue with Rhys Ifans.  After seeing his performance in our upcoming film Anonymous, we’re in awe of his talent and think he’s the perfect choice to take on this role."

Director Marc Webb preferred to not reveal exactly which villain Ifans will be portraying for the time being, but we hope he is somebody awesome.

Webb added "What sets the Spider-Man villains apart is the complexity of their relationships with Peter Parker.  Rhys' incredible ability to embody both warmth and rage makes him the ideal choice for this character."

Spider-Man reboot hits theaters on July 3, 2012

NYCC: Trailer for "The Thing" Leaked Online!

I just love Comic-Con attendees whom disregard the no filming rule. It gives the fans that can't attend a peek at a movie they otherwise would't see.

The trailer that has been leaked online is for the Universal prequel The Thing. The prequel is centered around the Norwegian camp that was hit first, before the events of the first film, also named The Thing. It will answer some questions raised in the original.

"Paranoia spreads like an epidemic among a group of researchers as they’re infected, one by one, by a mystery from another planet. Paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has traveled to the desolate region for the expedition of her lifetime. Joining a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across an extraterrestrial ship buried in the ice, she discovers an organism that seems to have died in the crash eons ago. But it is about to wake up. When a simple experiment frees the alien from its frozen prison, Kate must join the crew’s pilot, Carter (Joel Edgerton), to keep it from killing them off one at a time. And in this vast, intense land, a parasite that can mimic anything it touches will pit human against human as it tries to survive and flourish."

The Thing hits theaters on April 29, 2011. (That's My Birthday)

Matt Damon Not Returning For The Bourne Legacy

Hollywood Elsewhere talked to the new director/writer Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton,Duplicity) about his upcoming film The Bourne Legacy.

He told them that they took the title from a book in the series and they will not use the story.

"This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel. No one's replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter...this is a stand-alone project," said Gilroy.

He went into greater depth of the subject and continued with "Jason Bourne will not be in this film, but he's very much alive. What happened in the first three films is the trigger for what happens. I'm building a legend and an environment and a wider conspiracy... the world we're making enhances and advances and invites Jason Bourne's return [down the road]."

So we could end up seeing Jason Bourne in later Bourne films.

On-Set Footage of J.J. Abrams' Super 8

Super 8 is one the most hyped movies of 2011 and could be an amazing throwback to the 70's sci-fi era. J.J. Abrams is Filming it now in a town in West Virginia and some local resident uploaded some on-set footage he took.

The local wrote this as description on YouTube "I just recently found out that the movie Super 8 was being filmed in my hometown and we walked down to see the set last night (10/08/10) during filming. There were a lot of military vehicles, soldiers, and 70's cars. (We even caught glimpse of one of the stunt cars) The whole place was lit up by huge stadium lights and it looked like they were shooting with a camera on a big crane arm. Hope you enjoy."

Here is footage

Trailer of the Week - The Tempest

The Tempest is a great Shakespearian story and his rumored last play too. The story has been retold numerous times over the years, but this one is odd with a female lead instead of a male. Also, this movie looks magical and filled with adventure.

Prospera's journey spirals through vengeance to forgiveness as she reigns over a magical island, cares for her young daughter, Miranda, and unleashes her powers against shipwrecked enemies.

The Tempest hits theaters on December 10, 2010

Emma Stone Is Gwen Stacy In Spider-Man Reboot!!

It's official! After a long speculation, news broke today that they finally cast the love-intrest of Peter Parker/Spider-Man.  The talented actress Emma Stone (Superbad, Zombieland, Easy A) will be Gwen Stacy opposite of Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker) in the 2012 Spider-Man reboot.

Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment and Matt Tolmach, president of Columbia Pictures announced the news during a press conference.

Tolmach said "It's been an incredible journey for us to watch Emma's star rise as an actress. She is extraordinarily talented and has a very special on-screen spark that is perfect for this role. Given her history with the studio, casting her in one of our most important franchises is a real thrill."

"The chemistry between Andrew and Emma was stunning and made Emma the clear choice. At the heart of the story of Peter Parker is not only the amazing Spider-Man, but also an ordinary teenager who is wondering what he has to do to get the girl. Andrew and Emma will bring everything audiences expect to these roles, but also make them their own. Much to my surprise, it was fun to find out that our choice for Gwen (Emma) is also a natural blonde."Director Marc Webb added.

You can make your decision on if she is best for the part by seeing her now in Easy A. She is fantastic in the film and proves to me she can play Gwen Stacy.

Spider-Man is going to start production in december for a release in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Zack Snyder Directing Superman Reboot

Zack Snyder
Heat Vision is reporting Director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead) has been hired to direct the upcoming reboot of Superman.

Zack Snyder was just one of five directors on the short-list that Christopher Nolan picked to direct the Superman reboot. The other directors include:  Matt Reeves (Cloverfield), Tony Scott (Unstoppable), Jonathan Liebesman (Battlefield: Los Angeles) and Duncan Jones (Moon).

I think Snyder was the best choice of the bunch to be honest.  He has had the most experience in comic-book movies and he can really make superman awesome again.

Snyder just had an interview with Deadline and said "I've been a big fan of the character for a long time, he's definitely the king of all superheroes, he's the one. It's early yet, but I can tell you that what David [Goyer] and Chris [Nolan] have done with the story so far definitely has given me a great insight into a way to make him feel modern. I've always felt he was kind of awesome. I'll finish 'Sucker Punch' and get right at it."

The Superman Reboot is being fast tracked at Warner Bros. because of the legal problems with the superman creators (Joe Shuster and Jerry Seigel) relatives. Warner Bros. has to be in-production of the film by 2011 or the rights go to the relatives and no more superman movies.

This superman film has potential to be an amazing comic-book film because it has The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan as executive producer and Batman begins writer David S. Goyer. Then they have Watchmen director Zack Snyder directing it.  This could be so epic.

Hatchet II Theater List

Many fans of Hatchet were very excited to hear that the sequel Hatchet II would be released theatrically unrated.  The bad part of that awesome news is even though it would get released, not many theater chains would allow a unrated film to play in their theaters.

The good part is AMC decided to have some balls and release it in multiple chains across the US.  It just sucks that not to many are showing it in certain states.  I live in St. Louis and about 30 mins away is the only place in the whole state to be showing Hatchet II.

I have been given the list of all the AMC Theaters that will be showing Hatchet II unrated.  The list is very weak in the location department because it seems they won't release the film in many states.

So check out after the jump is the "FULL" list of theaters showing Hatchet II.
