Tron: The Next Day Short Film

A really cool short film called Tron: The Next Day has found it's way online. The short film acts as a teaser for TRON 3 and a long one at that. The Next Day is actually set the day before the beginning of Tron: Legacy. It heavily features the Flynn Lives campaign and even shows some footage filmed at Comic-Con last year.

A second hidden "easter egg" trailer is set to be on the Blu-ray of Tron: Legacy (April 5) that will feature Olivia Wilde as Quorra and Cillian Murphy as Ed Dillinger Jr.

A Tron sequel has NOT been officially announced, but it is rumored to be soon. So lets hope to get a sequel soon.

New 'Tron Legacy' Poster Looks Familiar

Tron: Legacy is one of the most anticipated films of the year and this new poster just adds to the fun. The viral marketing for this film has been very awesome with the sites, Comic-Con, trailers, songs and many more.

The new one sheet looks pretty awesome just by itself, but some may notice similarities between the new poster and the iconic original Tron poster from 1982. This movie is going to be amazing.

TRON: Evolution PS3 Collector's Edition Announced

We have only a few months until the highly-anticipated Tron: Legacy hits theaters and that means we will see the release of a video-game tie-in. I don't know if the game will be any good or not, but it has a freakin cool Collector's Edition.

The collector's edition of Tron: Evolution has $130 package that includes a cool light cycle model with the game. I just don't know if a model light cycle is worth $70 bucks. 

Tron: Legacy hits theaters on December 17 and the game Tron: Evolution hits  Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC and PSP on November 1.

SDCC: New Tron: Legacy Trailer

During the Disney panel for Tron: Legacy, they showed over 8 minutes of the film and recorded the crowds chanting "Disk! War", "Rinz! Ler!", and "Dee! Rez!" as well as cheering and stomping feet to include into the final movie. That's pretty cool that Disney lets the fans get to help out with the movie.

During the closing of the Tron panel they showed a brand new trailer for Tron:Legacy that is avaible online.

They were asked if they will release the original in 3D and they said "Those are conversations we're having right now." So, maybe we will get to see the original sometime soon in theaters.

Custom Built Tron Mortorcyles

If you guys are like me and dreamed of having the lightcyles from Tron, well you guys might just be in luck. The guys who made the Batpod replica will now make "street legal" replicas of the very cool Lightcyles.

 The Parker Brothers team is building 5 custom one off "Lightcycles" to the exact specs of the movie bikes. Each bike will be black with an accent color - 5 bikes with 5 different accent colors (red, blue, yellow, green, and orange). There will only be one bike made per color so if you must have a certain color, you better call now. This is a first come first serve project so don't delay. Disney designers built a "movie prop" of this bike for the TRON Legacy promotions and not a running version so these will be the only known running versions to exist. The engineering behind a fully functional version is mindboggling to say the least.

The wheels are custom made 22" x12" dual hubless wheels with custom made tires (Hoosier is custom making 5 sets just for us specifically for this project). (Buyers will have the option of additional tires as needed) The frame is 2" cold rolled and boxed hardened steel with carbon fiber/fiberglass bodies. Accent colors are neon glowing from behind frosted plexiglass and can be turned off or on with the flip of a switch.

Each bike will come with either a high powered electric motor or a high performance gasoline motor and transmission depending on the buyers needs.

The "Cyles" are up for auction on Ebay for $35,000 Buy Now or make an offer. You got 2 days.

Tron Legacy Billboard

Disney just released this billboard art to Comingsoon.net. Tron Legacy is being released on December 17th in 3D and IMAX 3D. This movie just keeps getting better looking.

Also, Disney has released concept art for the new some new skin on the Monorail at Walt Disney World Resort. They are painted to look like light cycles moving. They look pretty awesome.

Tron Legacy Trailer

The first full length trailer for the highly anticipated sequel film Tron Legacy has been released. I have waited for years for a follow up and I am impressed with what I see.

Tron Legacy is directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart), Garret Hedlund (Four Brothers), Olivia Wilde (House), Michael Sheen (Frost/Nixon), Bruce Boxleitner (Tron), and John Hurt (Hellboy). That is a star studded cast and Daft Punk will make a cameo I think.

New Yellow Tron Legacy Light Cycle
