The Collection Trailer and Cool Banner!

I am a really big fan of the first film The Collector because it is awesome crazy story to have a thief break into a house the same night a freak has made the house a looney toon style death trap in every room with the family stuck inside. Awesome. Well, This film is getting a sequel called The Collection (catchy, I know). The action looks great with some great set-ups and deaths to come, but maybe a little too similar to Saw. Maybe thats the plan to make a new franchise with it. I would love that!

Synopsis: When Elena’s (Emma Fitzpatrick) friends take her to a secret party at an undisclosed location, she never imagined she would become the latest victim of The Collector, a psychopathic killer. The Collector kidnaps and transports her to an abandoned hotel he’s transformed into his own private maze of torture and death. Upon learning of his daughter’s disappearance, Elena’s wealthy father (Christopher McDonald) hires a group of mercenaries to retrieve her from the vicious grips of The Collector. These mercenaries coerce Arkin (Josh Stewart), the only man to have escaped the wrath of this heinous monster, to lead them through the gruesome labyrinth. Now, Arkin finds himself fighting for his own life in order to save Elena. “The Collection,” directed by Marcus Dunstan and written by Dunstan and Patrick Melton, is a suspense horror film with nonstop thrills at every turn, starring Josh Stewart (The Dark Knight Rises), Emma Fitzpatrick (The Social Network), and Christopher McDonald (Requiem for a Dream).

The Collection hits theaters on November 30th

SDCC: Comic-Con Footage of The Walking Dead

Some brave soldier recorded a decent bootlegged version of the extended trailer shown at Comic-Con. The show has been at the top of my to-watch list for quite some time, because I love zombies and Frank Darabont (The Mist,  The Shawshank Redemption).

The Walking dead is based on the hit comic-book series and will premiere on AMC in October 2010.

The Walking Dead tells the story of the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse and follows a small group of survivors traveling across the country in search of a new home away from the hordes of zombies. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a police officer in the old world, and as their situation grows more and more grim, the group's desperation to survive pushes them to do almost anything to stay alive.

Trailer of the Week: The Loved Ones

This cute little Australian film will make you never want to say no when asked to go to prom with the quiet girl at school. I first thought this movie was going to be okay, but the trailer makes this movie look amazing to me. I can't wait to see this movie when it comes out and I have no idea when that is. I looked in a lot of places for a release date in USA and I can't find anything besides August 2010. And I have doubt about that source.

Synopsis

Brent (Xavier Samuel) has never recovered from the night of the car crash that killed his father; the crash that he was responsible for.His only solace is his loving girlfriend Holly (Victoria Thaine).But there’s another girl who yearns to comfort Brent, the quietest girl in school LOLA (Robin McLeavy), and when he turns down her invitation to the prom he enters a nightmare beyond imagining.

Hours before the dance, Brent is abducted and taken to Lola’s home by her demented Daddy (John Brumpton) who’s determined to make his princess' dream come true.

Now imprisoned in Lola’s home Brent discovers that her feelings for him aren’t the only thing she’s been keeping a secret, and that he must summon every ounce of will he possesses if he is to survive and prevent Lola and her father from extending her revenge to those he loves most.
