Hi-Res Pics From The Dark Knight Rises

Earlier this week some poorly scanned photos of this months issue of Empire magazine made their way online. The images featured the main article about The Dark Knight Rises. It had some pretty awesome shots of Bane (Tom Hardy) and some of Batman (Christian Bale). They look pretty beastly.

Side Note: Just like back in 2007 with the IMAX showings of I Am Legend with opening scene of The Dark Knight, Nolan will be showing 6-7 minute opening of The Dark Knight Rises before IMAX of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol this December.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Screenshots

Videogame developer Naughty Dog has announced the third game in the Uncharted franchise Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

 Entertaimnet Weekly has an article that said : According to Naughty Dog's creative director Amy Hennig, the theme of deception plays out in multiple ways throughout the threequel, from Drake doing the deceiving to Drake being deceived to some mysterious deception about Drake's very identity. The story focuses on the hero's relationship with his mentor and father figure, fan fave Victor "Sully" Sullivan, and has him searching for a legendary lost city that will ultimately take him to the Arabian Peninsula and the vast wasteland of the Rub' al Khali Desert, also known as the Empty Quarter.

First Scream 4 Screenshot

Entertainment Weekly got their hands on the first official screenshot from the upcoming horror film Scream 4.

The screenshot has Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox Arquette) walking through a barn with the ghostface killer behind her. The lighting is just amazing with the yellow colors really adding to the mood. It's cool that they will have a scene in a barn just like some classic horror movies including Friday The 13th and Halloween 5.

Some questions may pop into your head like Why does Gale have a ghostface mask? Does that mean there is multiple killers or is she a killer herself? Who Knows.

ET also says that the film takes place 10 years after the events in Scream 3. So, could Gale and Dewey be married like in real life. There is just so many questions.

No news when the trailer will be released, but production has ended last week with a tweet by director Wes Craven saying thats a wrap on Scream 4.

Batman: Arkham City Screenshots

Many screenshots for the upcoming game Batman: Arkham City have surfaced online today. The game will be released on PS3,  Xbox 360 and PC sometime in Fall 2011.

This game looks awesome because it has many characters from the all-star catalog of batman villains  including Two-Face, Catwoman, Hugo Strange and many more.

The game takes place in a new maximum security "area" known as Arkham City, where they hold Gotham City's gangsters, murderers, thugs and the criminally insane masterminds. The new facility is located right smack dab in the middle of Gotham City behind heavily fortified walls. It reminds me a little of Escape from New York. Batman will embark on a new adventure through the insane city with new enhanced gameplay features that will make you more like Batman than ever before.

Live Action Blue Beetle Test Images

Images of the special effects test for the live-action Blue Beetle have been released on the official blog of DC Comic's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.

He posted the note and images below earlier tonight

"I feel very fortunate to have been a part of Blue Beetle’s introduction way back in INFINITE CRISIS. I’ve said it before, but thanks to the BLUE BEETLE series launched by Keith Giffen and John Rogers with a great design by Cully Hamner, Jaime Reyes rocks. Great character, great story, great look. He’s already appeared in animation, had action figures and right now he’s on my computer in live-action glory. I have an early special effects test that has been floating around of what his armored scarab-suit could look like. This isn’t final. This isn’t greenlit. It’s only a test that was done. We still have a long way to go to see if we can get this off the ground and a lot of people to jump on board…but check out some stills."

They remind me a little of my childhood with Power Rangers and Beetle Borgs, but I am fine with that.

He also stated that they will premiere the footage in full at Comic-Con later next month.

A Nightmare On Elm Street Poster and Pics

Warner Bros/New Line Cinema revealed a new "cool" poster for A Nightmare On Elm Street remake that is hitting theaters on April 30th. Hey, that is one day past my B-day. Also included is 4 new images that surfaced online. Teaser trailer released a few months ago is below them for the people wanting to see it. Check them out below.
