George Clooney and Angelina Jolie have been cast to star as 1950's "icons" Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe in the film adaptation of the upcoming novel The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend, Marilyn Monroe.
The book is by author Andrew O'Hagan and serves as a odd biopic of Marilyn Monroe told through the eyes of her Scottish maltese poodle, Mafia Honey, who was given to her by Frank Sinatra as a present.
There is no director attached at the moment so it will most likely be a long time until this movie gets made.
I don't know if I could see a movie told by a talking dog and take it very serious. I think they should cast Bette Midler as the poodle so she can voice another dog like she did in Oliver and Company.
