Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that the 25th Anniversary Edition of the Back to the Future will hit Blu-ray on October 26, 2010. That is funny because that is the day that Marty Mcfly goes back in time in the original from 1985.
The film trilogy will be 1080p, with an aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Audio will be 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The discs will be single-sided BD50s. Also, there will be over 2 hours of new bonus features.
The special features include everything from the ride at Universal Studios, trivia, 16 deleted scenes, documentaries about production, Behind the scenes, making the Delorean into a time machine, and a whole lot more. The best part is that they will ,as far as I can tell, release the long thought after footage of Eric Stoltz as Marty Mcfly. That will make many to all the hardcore fans super happy, me included.
