Infamous' Cole Gets A New Look....Again?

The first footage of Sucker Punches' highly anticipated sequel, Infamous 2, was shown at E3 this year, but we didn't see the familiar face we remember from the predecessor.  Infamous' main protagonist is Cole McGrath, a bike courier in the enormous city of Empire.  Cole get's caught in the center of an explosion and mysteriously gains the ability to manipulate electricity.  That cole was a rough, tough, bald electrically charged machine. 

Sucker Punch has completely changed his look.  The new cole was a younger, cooler looking messenger, sporting a bunch of tattoos and a slick new haircut.  Well, from what I remember, Cole was a dark and mysterious character who was near bald and always angry looking.  

This new look was really criticized by fans of the first game and Sucker Punch must have heard the complaints.  Before the Infamous 2 panel at Comic Con, SP announced that they will be changing Cole back to a more familiar look, most likely more bald.

I have mixed opinions about the new look and the old one.  This new look is cool and I think it would make him more relatable, but he looks too much like the traditional hero.  The old look is also cool and It fits the profile pretty well, but to me, he was never a likable hero or villain.

I for one, was a big fan of Infamous and can't wait for Infamous 2.  Im looking forward to seeing what Sucker Punch can deliver in their action packed and electrifying sequel.  Look out for more news on Infamous 2 in the future.

Top Ten Games of 2009

The year is over and that means it's time to remind you of the best games of the 2009. Over the course of thw past year, some of the best games seen to date were released for everyone to enjoy. Video Game Reviews 2009

2009 was a great year for video games and today I'll be doing a round-up of all the reviews from this year. The reviews range from games like Infamous, to Modern Warfare2. Here is a list of all the games reviewed this year.


Infamous is just a great game and every PS3 owner should have atleast rented it and played it through. Play Infamous, it will not disappoint. It gives you the chance to use your recently acquired powers for good or evil. I gave Infamous an 81 of 100. Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of my favorite games of 2009. It has potential to be GOTY. Arkham Asylum has to be the best Batman game ever created. It does a great job of mixing action gameplay with stealth gameplay. If you haven't played Arkham Asylum then you are really missing out. Arkham Asylum got a 91 of 100. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has to be the most visually beautiful games I've ever played. This game looks so good it could almost be a movie. It puts you in the shoes of Nathan Drake on his adventure in search for Marco Polo's lost fleet. Among Thieves is a definite buy for any PS3 owner. Check this game out. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the original Modern Warfare. MW2 is one of the greatest FPS's of all time and it's sales can prove that. The online multiplayer is just as great as the original with just a little more to offer. If you don't own this game already you have no idea what you are missing. Modern Warfare 2 is the best multiplayer experience you will find. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 brought home a 91 of 100. Infamous Review

Infamous is a third person action game about the story of Cole McGrath, who is caught in an explosion in Empire City which gave him the power to manipulate electricity. Infamous is a good fun game that anyone can enjoy. What I like about it is the fact that you can climb nearly every structure and it runs very smoothly when in motion, but when climbing, the animations can be a bit sketchy and are a little off when it comes to realistic movements. There is a karma system where you can make good or bad choices depending on which moral path you decide to take. Both good and bad karma offer different versions of the same powers, but the evil powers offer a lot more satisfaction if you are looking for chaos and destruction. Empire city is beautifully built and looks realistic in the architecture and everything is proportional. What I don't like about Infamous is the unskippable cutscenes and the repetitive gameplay. Many of the side mission are the same as others, with just a few that are different. Once you've played the game through and decide to go back for a second playthrough, you aren't allowed to skip the cutscenes, although they are in a cool comic book style, they can be annoying. Overall I enjoyed this game and I recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained. I give Infamous a 81 of 100.
