I know after years of false starts and even with the optimism of Dan Aykroyd telling us it's happening any moment now, we would start getting use to dismissing all news about the sequel. Well, seems some big news has made it's way in open about if it will get made (without Bill Murray though, boooooo).
Deadline did a update on Ivan Reitman's football film 'Draft Day' getting tossed out by Paramount but threw in some tidbits about why the move came about.
They stated a reason is "Paramount chose not to make it in the small window that Reitman has before he is expected to finally get the long-gestating Ghostbusters reboot in front of the cameras next summer for Sony Pictures (sans Bill Murray)." There you have it folks. No football movie for a Ghostbusters sequel! Sounds perfect to me.
Now take this news lightly for now because of the previous false alarms and misquoted sayings. Lets hope though!!

New Yogi Bear Posters
Some new Yogi Bear poster have shown up online and the third one looks a very suggestive to me. Just look at the tagline. I think this poster isn't going to be around for much longer.

Yogi Bear Teaser Trailer and Poster
Warner Bros. released the teaser trailer for their upcoming cgi/live-action Yogi Bear. The film has the unlikely pair of Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear and Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo, you heard that right. The film just seems really weird, but Timberlake does a really good job as Boo-Boo. It also stars Anna Faris and Tom Cavanagh.
Jellystone Park has been losing business, so greedy Mayor Brown decides to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors -- and, even worse, Yogi and Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they've ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is "smarter than the average bear" as he and Boo Boo join forces with their old nemesis Ranger Smith to find a way to save Jellystone Park from closing forever.
Yogi Bear hits theaters on December 17, 2010
