Director D.J. Caruso has "confirmed" on his unofficial twitter account that he will direct an adaptation of the popular 90's Vertigo comic Preacher. That could be a perfect opportunity to show more of that natural talent he only seems to show us in Disturbia and a little bit in Eagle Eye.
Caruso said "just closed on Preacher. Going back to the dark side and pretty f*cking pumped!" So he sounds really excited.
Preacher tells the story of a of a down-and-out Texas preacher possessed by Genesis, a supernatural entity conceived by the unnatural coupling of an angel and a demon.
