Vin Diesel Heading to Marvel?

This is really random and cool at same time. Mega action star Vin Diesel stated on his Facebook page that "Marvel has requested a meeting... no idea what for... haha, you probably know better than me…".

That is pretty big news! What does Marvel want to talk about with him? Do they have a part for him in the future films? All I know is Marvel has a lot of characters and plot ideas in the pipeline. So they could have a character in mind for him and want to run it by him.

Rumors have been around for a while now about Diesel joining the Marvel Universe. Some rumors have been him playing Vision down the road or Thanos with that voice. Hmmmm only time will tell. What do you think? Any ideas?

Ant-Man Test Footage Leaked Online!

Last year at San Diego Comic-Con 2012, director Edgar Wright showed some apparently awesome test footage (it is, I can vouch for it now), and we who couldn't attend didn't get a chance to see it. That is changed now! Yesterday the footage was leaked online after they screened it again over in the UK at "The Best of BUG" event. I don't know what that is exactly,but that is besides the point of the story. The big thing is someone videotaped the footage and posted it online for us all to see. Disney has made it very clear they don't want it online by taking it down everywhere by today….well almost everywhere that is. I have found a link that works!! (for now).

Ant-Man Gets A Release Date!!

Ant-Man was something that has been in the shadows of Marvel for sometime and we got a pretty sweet sneak at what was in the making at SDCC earlier this year. Well, Disney has made it official! The release date announced today and it's a little far away but close enough to still get all of us nerds going.

The release date is November 6, 2015!

The Avengers 2 will be released will hit theaters May 1, 2015. So a few months before.

The news is likely but I was/am hoping for him to be included in The Avengers 2 as a character but I guess a solo film after it will be a big winner too. I wonder if he will be cameoed or big player in The Avengers 2 or not at all. Who knows (Joss Whedon does that sly boy)? Nonetheless, I am very excited for this character And to see what the film will have in for us Phase III of the Marvel Universe!

Comic-Con: Ant-Man Logo and Test Footage shown!!

A big surprise at Marvel's Hall H panel for Iron Man 3 was the appearance of director Edgar Wright taking the stage to talk about Ant-Man! He came out and talked about the film and said he had some test footage of it and was joking that the attendees wouldn't want to see blue screens and wires. He than presented some test footage!

The footage opened with Ant-Man in a room somewhere sitting on an air conditioner vent that ended up leading to a hallway that is being guarded by some kind of agents (likely Shield). The costume is of Ant-Man is clearing a mixture of the silver age with modern day one. You see him running down the hallway and morphed into normal size and startled the guards, then went down to ant size again to punch one in the face. He kicked both the guards butts and ended the scene with that.

Wright says he has no casting announcements yet, but that should change in near future! fingers crossed for Nathan Fillion.
