BBC To Unveil New Doctor Who Live Sunday August 04, 2013!

This is pretty big news if your into the whole Doctor Who thing. They will unveil the new Doctor this sunday live on BBC! Ya pretty crazy I know. The rumors have been going crazy over the last couple of months on who will be taking over the mantle. They have been out here as being a woman, black, or american (?!) that would be pretty trippy.

BBC released an article and trailer promoting this Sunday as the day to tune into the network to join fans and cast members in celebration leading up to a live audience unveil of the new guy. Pretty big event in UK!

Steven Moffat says: “The decision is made and the time has come to reveal who’s taking over the TARDIS. For the last of the Time Lords, the clock is striking twelve.”

Current Doctor, Matt Smith, stated “I’m incredibly grateful to all the cast and crew who work tirelessly every day to realize all the elements of the show and deliver ‘Doctor Who’ to the audience, many of them have become good friends and I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved over the last four years.”

Tune in this Sunday on BBC at 7pm London time to see who it is! Don't think I forgot about the rest of us on the other side of the pond. Americans can tune into BBC America at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST to see it live. I know its a bit early in the pacific guys but come on its Doctor Who!
