Sir Anthony Hopkins might just play the Master of Suspense and Thrillers Alfred Hitchcock in the adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho.Sacha Gervasi is attached to direct the film with Paramount Pictures producing.
The films "tracks how Hitchcock, at the height of his game as a director, decided to make a 'lowly' horror movie. No studio wanted to touch it initially so Hitchcock scrounged for financing by himself." I like Hitchcock even more for doing something like that.
The film will mostly revolve around the relationship between Hitchcock and his wife Alma.
The film is getting closer to getting Hopkins on-board, but its still not official, yet. It takes a man like Hopkins to play a director in a film about behind the cameras.
