Linkin Park Featured In Medal Of Honor

It looks like Linkin Park is the new sound for the highly anticipated, modern war game, Medal Of Honor.

Just as Activision did for Call of Duty: Black Ops with Eminem, EA is doing for Linkin Park.  Here is the new trailer for Medal Of Honor featuring the new single from Linkin Park, The Catalyst.  The Catalyst is from their new album A Thousand Suns.  Check it out below and see what you think.

The music video for The Catalyst will debut on August 1 on the Medal Of Honor website.

Spike TV VGA 2009 Round-Up

Tonight was the Spike TV Video Game Awards and there was a "plethora" of great games announced. Many games premiered tonight such as Arkham Asylum 2, UFC Undisputed 2010, Medal of Honor, Halo: Reach, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Tron: Evolution, Crackdown 2, The Force Unleashed II, and many more. Here are some videos all the action at tonight's VGA's.

Arkham Asylum 2:

To get more info on Arkham Asylum 2, head on over to www.arkhamhasmoved.com.

UFC Undisputed 2010:

I don't really see much difference visually and the video doesn't show any new features. One thing that's new is the addition of Kimbo Slice.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands:

This is the next inst in the franchise starting a new story for players and dropping the fruity art style from the previous game.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II:

This is supposed to be a sequel, but I don't see how the plot will work out.

Medal of Honor:

Can anyone say Modern Warfare. This looks almost identical to both Modern Warfare games.

Spec Ops: The Line:

Another post-apocalyptic shooter.

Crackdown 2:
Looks fun.

Tron: Evolution:

Don't know what to say. Could be fun, could be shit.

True Crime:

In my opinion, this game looks really bad. Last gen worthy.

Halo: Reach:

I just hope they change something for once and drop the vibrant colors.

That's all for now, I'll post so more on the Spike TV VGA's 2009 later. See ya.

New Medal Of Honor

EA has just announced the reinvention of the their classic franchise Medal Of Honor. This latest installment is to be in the modern ages and set in Afghanistan. It is said to be "the most authentic modern war experience" to be in a game. The game is being developed at EA Los Angeles and DICE, who is responsible for Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and 2. The bearded, box-art soldier is a Tier 1 Operator, "a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle," according to EA. They also said that it will let gamers "step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan."

Medal of Honor is going to debut at the Spike TV VGA on December 12th. It is set to be released for Plastation 3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in fall 2010.
